Who is an Introvert?

An introvert is someone who tends to be more focused on their inner thoughts and feelings than on external stimuli. Introverts often find social interactions draining and typically recharge by spending time alone or in quiet environments. They may prefer smaller gatherings or one-on-one conversations to large group settings.  While they are often perceived as shy or reserved, introverts are not necessarily socially anxious; they simply thrive in less stimulating environments. Introversion is one end of the personality spectrum, with extroversion on the other, though many people fall somewhere in between. Now you know!
